Gold Steel Barefoot Sandal Jewellery: STITCH by REPIOR®

STITCH is gold steel barefoot sandal jewellery: a fine gold steel line that circles the ankle and crosses the top of the foot, decorated with a star and a touch of crystal. It dresses the bare foot as a sandal would, and leaves the sole free.

On skin it looks like a single thread of gold has been sewn from the ankle towards the toes, with a star tied at the knot.

Shoes optional. Light included.

One Pass of the Needle

A stitch is a single pass of thread through cloth: the smallest gesture that holds two things together. STITCH draws that gesture in metal across the foot, one clean line from ankle to toe, with the star and crystal marking the point where it pauses.

Each piece is assembled and finished by hand in our studio. The line is measured to fall flat over the foot, and the crystal is checked for clarity before the piece is packed.

How to Wear It

Fasten STITCH around the ankle, then guide the front line over the top of the foot towards the toes, so the star rests on the instep. Wear it barefoot on sand or grass, or with a flat open sandal. Remove it before walking long distances on rough ground.
