Suede Choker Necklace: BOND by REPIOR®

BOND is a suede choker necklace in suede and brass, made by hand in our studio in England. A soft band circles the neck and sits close at the throat, while brass brings a warm, metallic accent to the front of the collar.

It is the meeting of two textures: one that yields, one that holds. Against the skin, the suede feels almost like nothing. In the light, the brass answers back.

The Joining of Two

BOND is named for the joining of two things that choose to stay together. Suede and brass have little in common: one is supple and matte, the other hard and bright. Put side by side, each makes the other more itself. That is the idea behind the piece, and the reason it reads as both gentle and assured.

Each BOND is assembled and finished by hand in our studio, with attention to how the band lies and how the brass sits at the centre of the throat. Small variations in the suede’s grain and the brass’s tone make each one its own.

How to Wear It

Fasten BOND at the back of the neck and adjust it so the band sits close without pressing. Wear it on its own with an open collar, or layer it with fine chains for contrast between soft and metal.

Care Instructions

Keep suede dry and away from oils, perfume and direct heat. If it gets damp, let it dry naturally, then brush it lightly. Wipe the brass with a soft, dry cloth; brass deepens in tone with time and can be polished back if you prefer it bright. Store the collar flat.
