Aluminium Wire Ring: VALVE by REPIOR®

VALVE is an aluminium wire ring decorated with spirals, coiled by hand from aluminium wire in gold, rose gold or silver. The spirals sit on top of the band, wound tight at the centre and opening outward. Aluminium keeps the ring light enough for everyday wear.

Spirals appear in shells, ferns, galaxies and fingerprints. Wearing one on the hand feels like carrying a small piece of that pattern.

Opening and Closing

VALVE is a study in pressure, a form that opens, closes and holds with intent. A spiral does all three: it tightens toward the centre, loosens toward the edge, and holds its shape by the tension in the wire itself.

Pilar coils every spiral by hand, controlling the pressure so each turn sits evenly, then attaches them to a band made to your size. Small differences between spirals are the trace of that control.

How to Wear It

Slide VALVE onto the finger with the spirals facing up. Wear it alone or with fine bands for contrast. Remove it before washing your hands or swimming, and avoid pressing the spirals, which can flatten soft wire.
