Copper Collar Necklace: AXIS by REPIOR®

AXIS is a copper collar necklace formed by hand from copper wire in a gold, rose gold or silver finish. It circles the base of the neck in one continuous orbit, close to the skin, and holds its own shape instead of falling like a chain.

Seen from the front, it is a horizon at the collarbone. Seen from the side, a single stroke of light that follows the turn of the head.

The Centre of Balance

AXIS is drawn along a single line, and that line is the body’s own centre. Dancers find it, sculptors look for it, and we mostly forget it is there. This collar is a reminder: a quiet point of symmetry worn at the throat, where every gesture of the head begins.

As a Custom Cervical Orbit, AXIS is formed individually in our studio. The wire is bent around the curve of the neck, then adjusted by hand so the orbit is even and the ends meet cleanly. It is precise work done slowly, which is why each collar carries the small, honest differences of something made rather than produced.

How to Wear It
