Light aluminium wire is looped and linked by hand, worn over the head and secured in the hair, so the links fall evenly and move as you do.

REPIOR LINK Head Chain Jewellery

The REPIOR LINK head chain jewellery is made by hand from aluminium wire, loop by loop. Worn over the head and secured in the hair, its links follow the shape of the head and frame the face, catching the light each time you move.

Every link is a small closed circle. Together they read like a line of handwriting, joined up and flowing.

One Loop, Holding the Next

LINK is the simplest unit of a chain: one loop, closed, holding the next. It is the oldest logic in jewellery, and here it is made visible. Nothing is hidden in the construction; each link is part of the design.

In our studio, each loop is formed and closed by hand in aluminium wire, then joined to the next. The finished head piece is checked so it hangs evenly and sits lightly on the head.

How to Wear It

Place the head chain on the head and let the links settle. Secure it in the hair, using hair grips if needed, and adjust until the lines fall evenly around the face. It works over loose hair, plaits or an updo. To remove, release the grips first and lift it away gently.
