Turquoise Head Chain: STITCH by REPIOR®

STITCH Turquoise is a turquoise head chain made by hand in aluminium wire. A single line, set with turquoise, is drawn across the head and secured in the hair, like a thread sewn through fabric with one bright bead along its way.

It recalls embroidered headdresses and summer markets, the blue of the stone glowing against dark or fair hair alike.

A Stitch of Colour

STITCH is a single pass of thread through cloth, drawn here in metal. On the head, the hair becomes the cloth, and the line passes through it once, carrying the turquoise like a bead on a thread.

In our studio, the aluminium is shaped by hand, the turquoise is set into the line, and the finished head chain is checked so it sits lightly and evenly.

How to Wear It

Place the head chain across the head, with the turquoise where you want it. Secure it in the hair, using hair grips if needed, and adjust until the line lies evenly. It looks especially good with a centre parting or soft waves. To remove, release the grips first and lift it away.
