Turquoise Hair Jewellery: CORE by REPIOR®
CORE Turquoise is turquoise hair jewellery formed by hand in aluminium wire. It is worn over the head and secured in the hair, with a turquoise accent at its centre and fine lines of metal arranged around it, framing the face.
Turquoise is the colour of desert sky and shallow sea. Worn in the hair, it looks like a fragment of summer you decided to keep.
Everything else follows the blue.

Arranged Around a Centre
CORE is the centre; everything else in the piece is arranged around it. Here the centre is the turquoise. The wire lines radiate from it and through the hair, so the stone becomes the point the whole look is built on.
In our studio, the aluminium lines are shaped by hand, the turquoise is set at the centre, and the finished head piece is checked so it sits evenly and lightly.

How to Wear It
Place the piece on the head with the turquoise where you want it, at the crown, the brow or to one side. Secure it in the hair, using hair grips if needed, and adjust until the lines fall evenly. To remove, release the grips first and lift it away gently.

Care Instructions
Remove before washing your hair, swimming or sleeping. Turquoise is porous, so keep it away from water, hairspray, oils and perfume. Wipe the piece with a soft, dry cloth and store it flat. For sensitive skin, read our guide to hypoallergenic metals in body jewellery.

How does it stay in place?
CORE is secured in the hair, then adjusted with your fingers until the lines fall evenly. For a long day, such as a wedding, a couple of hair grips in a matching colour hold it even more securely.
Is it heavy?
No. CORE is made of anodised aluminium wire, which is nickel-free and very light, so it can be worn for hours without pulling on the hair.
Can I wear it at my wedding?
Yes. CORE suits brides, bridesmaids and guests, alone or with flowers in the hair. Choose gold or silver to match your other jewellery.
