Aluminium Ear Cuff: VOID by REPIOR®

VOID Auricular Chain is an aluminium ear cuff with a fine chain, formed by hand. The cuff holds the rim of the ear by gentle tension, and the chain falls along the curve of the ear, open and loose, moving with you. No piercing anywhere, and aluminium keeps it remarkably light.

The chain traces an empty space beside the face, a curve that only becomes visible when it moves.

The space it leaves is part of the design.

An Unfinished Curve

VOID is built around absence: an open curve that the body itself completes. Here the open curve is the chain itself, hanging from the cuff and outlining the air around the ear. Still, it is a line. In motion, it becomes a gesture.

In our studio, the aluminium cuff is shaped by hand to fit the ear, the chain is attached so it drapes evenly, and the cuff is refined until it sits close without pressing.

How to Wear It

Open the cuff a fraction and slide it onto the rim of the ear. Press gently until secure and let the chain fall freely. Check it does not catch in your hair. To remove, hold the chain, ease the cuff open and slide it off.
