Aluminium Head Chain: AXIS by REPIOR®

AXIS is an aluminium head chain made by hand from fine aluminium wire. Worn over the hair and secured in place, it draws a clean line along the head, a central axis that frames the face and catches the light with every movement.

It recalls the line of a perfect parting, or the spine of a leaf held up to the sun.

A Parting Drawn in Wire

AXIS is drawn along a single line, the body’s own centre of balance. On the head, that line runs through the crown and towards the brow, the axis around which the face is composed. AXIS marks it, quietly and precisely.

In our studio, the aluminium is shaped by hand into the head piece, every join is checked, and the finished piece is adjusted so it lies light and even on the head.

How to Wear It

Place the head chain on the head and align it along the centre. Secure it in the hair, with hair grips if needed, adjusting until the line falls evenly. It works over a centre parting, smooth hair or a low bun. To remove, release the grips first and lift it away gently.

Care Instructions
