Turquoise Head Chain Jewellery: GRAFT by REPIOR®

GRAFT Turquoise is turquoise head chain jewellery formed by hand in aluminium wire. It is worn over the head and secured in the hair, with turquoise details woven into lines that follow the curve of the head like branches on a vine.

It looks as if something living had taken root in the hair and flowered in blue.

Grown, not assembled.

Stone Grafted onto Wire

GRAFT takes its name from the gardener’s craft: one form joined to another until they grow as one. Stone joined to wire, wire joined to hair. Worn, the head piece looks less added than grown, part of the hair rather than placed on it.

In our studio, the aluminium is shaped by hand, the turquoise is joined into the lines, and the finished piece is checked so it rests evenly and lightly on the head.

How to Wear It

Place the piece on the head and let the lines follow its curve. Secure it in the hair, using hair grips if needed, and adjust until the turquoise sits where you want it. It suits loose waves, braids and soft updos. To remove, release the grips first and lift it away gently.

Care Instructions
