TETHER is an aluminium non-piercing nose ring: a light nose cuff, sometimes called a fake nose ring, for anyone who wants the look of a nostril ring without a piercing.

Each cuff is bent by hand from aluminium wire to follow the curve of the nostril wing and hold by gentle tension. Slide it on, press it lightly into place, slip it off at the end of the day.

Aluminium Non-Piercing Nose Ring: TETHER by REPIOR®

TETHER is an aluminium non-piercing nose ring, bent by hand from fine aluminium wire. It hooks over the wing of the nostril and holds there by gentle tension, giving the look of a nose ring with no hole and no healing. Aluminium makes it so light you will check the mirror to be sure it is still there.

It sits on the face like a single brushstroke at the corner of a portrait: small, deliberate, and enough to change the whole expression.

Balance at the Nostril

TETHER is a line that keeps two points in quiet tension. On the nose those points are the inside and outside of the nostril wing, and the wire rests between them with just enough pressure to stay. No more. The fit depends on balance rather than grip.

Pilar forms each cuff around a small mandrel, then adjusts the opening by hand so it closes softly on the curve of the nostril. Aluminium holds its shape once set but can be eased a little wider or narrower with your fingertips.

How to Wear It

Hold the cuff with the opening facing the nostril, slide it onto the edge of the nostril wing and press gently until it rests snugly. If it feels loose, close it a fraction; if it pinches, open it slightly. Remove it before sleeping. Our guide to non-piercing nose rings shows the placement step by step.

Care Instructions

Aluminium is light and nickel-free. Wipe the cuffs dry after wear and keep them away from make-up remover, perfume and lotions. Avoid bending the same point again and again, which weakens any wire. Store them together in a small pouch so none go missing.
