APEX Lock is a lock choker necklace: a steel collar finished by hand, made to sit close around the neck, with a lock motif at its centre. It is graphic, modern and unmistakably intentional.
A lock means something kept safe: a diary, a door, a promise on a bridge. Worn at the throat, it becomes a symbol of independence rather than restriction. You alone decide how and when it is worn.

A Lock at the Turning Point
APEX is the highest point of a form, the place where a line turns. The lock sits exactly at that point, at the front of the neck, where the line of the collar turns and the eye comes to rest.
Each APEX Lock is shaped and finished by hand in our studio. Steel is worked carefully so the collar sits evenly, and the lock is placed at the centre. Steel resists tarnish, so the piece keeps its clean look.

How to Wear It
Place APEX Lock around the base of the neck, with the lock centred at the front. It should sit close but never press. Wear it alone with an open neckline, or layer it with finer chains. Take it off before sleeping or exercise.

Care Instructions
Steel is tarnish-resistant and easy to keep. Rinse it in clean water if needed, dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth and store it flat in a sealed pouch, away from perfume and harsh chemicals. For sensitive skin, see hypoallergenic metals in body jewellery.
