Aluminium Hair Chain Jewellery: ARMOR by REPIOR®

ARMOR is aluminium hair chain jewellery, formed by hand in light aluminium wire. It is worn over the head and secured in the hair, drawing a pattern of fine metal lines that frame the crown and catch the light as you move.

It recalls the helmets of old legends, rebuilt in a fraction of the weight and worn for joy instead of war.

Ceremonial, but never heavy.

A Crown Built Like Armour

ARMOR is ornament as protection, a small shield worn by choice. On the head, it becomes a kind of crown: a structure that guards and decorates at once, and gives the wearer a certain bearing.

In our studio, each line is shaped from aluminium wire by hand and joined into the finished head piece, then checked so it sits evenly and lightly on the head.

How to Wear It

Place the piece on the head and settle it into position, then secure it in the hair, using hair grips if needed, adjusting until the lines fall evenly. Wear it over loose hair, a braid or an updo. To remove, release the grips first and lift the piece away gently so it does not catch.

Care Instructions
