Pearl Belly Chain: NODE by REPIOR®

NODE is a pearl belly chain with a second, finer chain that falls from the waist to a non-piercing clitoral attachment. The waist chain traces a meridian around the hips, punctuated by beads in the colour you choose, while the drop chain descends at the front to the attachment, which holds without any piercing. It is made by hand, for adults.

A string of pearls has always signalled a certain kind of elegance. Worn here, the same pearls tell a different story: unhurried, private, a little more daring than the necklace they could have been.

The Points That Hold

NODE is the point where lines meet and hold. On this piece there are two lines: the one that circles the waist and the one that leaves it, travelling down to the most intimate point of all. Where they meet is the idea of the whole design.

Each chain is strung and balanced by hand, so the beads fall evenly and the drop chain hangs straight.

How to Wear It

Fasten the waist chain and let it settle at the waist or on the hips, with the drop chain falling at the front. Then position the clitoral attachment gently: it should feel secure, never tight, and it needs no piercing. Start with short wears to learn how it feels, and remove the piece before sleeping, bathing or swimming.

Care Instructions

Clean the clitoral attachment and drop chain before and after every wear with warm water and a mild, unscented soap, then dry thoroughly. Wipe the pearls and beads gently with a soft cloth and keep them away from perfume, oils and lotions. Store the piece flat in a sealed pouch so the chains do not tangle.
