Getting your nipple size right is the single most important step to ensuring your REPIOR piece fits correctly. It takes under two minutes and you only need a ruler — or our free printable guide.
Why measurement matters
Non-piercing nipple jewellery holds in place through tension — the precise pressure of wire against the base of the nipple. Too large and the piece slips. Too small and it is uncomfortable. The right measurement means you forget it is there.
What you are measuring
You need the diameter of your nipple at its base — the widest point where it meets the areola. Measured in millimetres.
Method 1 — Ruler
Place a ruler horizontally across the base of the nipple when erect. Read the measurement in millimetres. Measure both nipples — they are often slightly different. Use the larger measurement for a comfortable fit, or the exact measurement for a snug hold.
Method 2 — Printable size guide
Print our size guide on cardboard at 100% scale. Cut out the circles and try each one against the erect nipple. The right size sits snugly at the base without pinching. This is our recommended method for first-time buyers.
Important notes
Always measure when erect — this gives the most accurate result. Some nipples relax slightly after the ring is on; if so, try half a millimetre smaller. Inverted nipples may not be compatible with tension rings — write to us before ordering if you are unsure.
Your two sides may differ
This is completely normal. Send us both measurements and we will make each ring to fit its respective side.
