Steel Nipple Barbell: SUTURE by REPIOR®

SUTURE is a steel nipple barbell made for pierced nipples. A straight steel bar, available in 10mm or 12mm lengths, is worn through a healed nipple piercing and rests horizontally across the nipple, finished by hand in our studio.

There is a particular satisfaction in something that fits exactly. Too long and a bar catches; too short and it presses. Chosen correctly, it simply sits.

Measured to the Millimetre

SUTURE borrows its name from the surgeon’s stitch: a line that closes, holds and heals. On a healed piercing the idea becomes quieter, a single neat line that completes what the piercing began.

Each bar is finished by hand and checked before it is packed. Steel was chosen for its strength, its clean silver colour and its resistance to tarnish.

How to Wear It

SUTURE is piercing jewellery. Insert the bar through a fully healed nipple piercing, never a fresh or healing one, so it rests horizontally across the nipple. If you are unsure of your gauge or bar length, check with your piercer before ordering. Take it out if you notice soreness, redness or swelling.

Care Instructions

Clean before and after every wear with warm water and a mild, unscented soap, rinse well and dry thoroughly. Steel is tarnish-resistant and keeps its colour with no more than a soft cloth. Never share intimate pieces, and stop at once if you feel numbness, pain or a change in skin colour. If your skin is sensitive to metals, read about hypoallergenic metals in body jewellery.
