Description

Hematite Necklace to Nipple Chain: SUTURE by REPIOR®

This hematite necklace to nipple chain sets the deep, metallic grey of hematite against copper wire in a silver, gold or rose gold finish. A collar sits at the base of the neck. Two lines descend across the chest, punctuated by hematite, and close around the nipples in non-piercing rings or nooses held by gentle tension.

Hematite has a mirror-dark shine. Against skin, it looks almost liquid.

A Line That Closes

SUTURE borrows its name from the surgeon’s stitch, the line that draws two edges together and holds them while they heal. Here it draws the throat and the chest into one composition, and the hematite marks each point like a knot in the thread.

Each piece is formed by hand in our studio. The collar is curved and smoothed, the hematite is threaded and fixed along the lines, and each orbit is shaped individually so it lies close.

How to Wear It

Fasten the collar and let the lines settle, hematite resting on the chest. Fit each orbit in turn: open a ring a fraction and press it closed at the base of the nipple, or loosen a noose, place it and draw it softly snug. The lines should lie flat, never taut. Care Instructions

Clean the orbits before and after every wear with warm water and a mild, unscented soap, then dry thoroughly. Keep hematite and wire dry: the plated finish can tarnish with moisture and perfume, so wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and store in a sealed pouch.
