APEX is star nipple shield jewellery: a decorative nipple cover formed by hand from coated copper wire and set with stars. The shield frames the nipple and rests across the areola, while an inner ring holds it at the base by gentle tension. No piercing at all.

A Night Sky in Wire

APEX names the highest point of a form, where a line turns. In this version, that summit becomes a sky: stars gathered around the centre, as if the body were the pole star everything else revolves around.

Each shield is formed by hand in our studio. The stars are placed one by one and the frame refined so it sits close and comfortable. Every pair is slightly different, as every sky is.

How to Wear It

Open the inner ring slightly, place the shield over the nipple and close the ring gently at the base. The stars should rest on the areola, secure and comfortable. Begin with short wears and loosen at once if you feel numbness. Read how to wear non-piercing nipple rings.

Care Instructions

Clean before and after every wear with warm water and a mild, unscented soap, then dry thoroughly. The plated finish can tarnish with time; polish gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep away from moisture and perfume. Never share intimate pieces, and stop at once if you feel numbness, pain or a change in skin colour.

Do I need a nipple piercing?

No. APEX is held by an inner ring that closes gently at the base of the nipple. Nothing pierces the skin.

How do I choose my size?

The size is the inner diameter of the ring that holds the shield. Read how to measure your nipple size; it takes two minutes and a ruler. If you are unsure, choose Custom Size and Pilar will make it to your measurement.

How long can I wear it?

Begin with short wears of 15 to 20 minutes and build up slowly. Never sleep in it, and remove it at once if you feel numbness, pain or notice a change in skin colour.

Who should not wear it?

Can intimate pieces be returned?
