Copper Sculptural Brooch: ARMOR by REPIOR®

ARMOR is a copper sculptural brooch, built by hand from coated copper wire. The wire is wound and layered into a compact form with a strong outline, then fitted with a pin so it can be worn on a lapel, a coat, a hat or a bag.

Pinned to dark wool it looks like a crest, the kind once worn to say who you were and where you belonged.

Not for battle. For presence.

Ornament as Protection

For centuries, armour was decorated. Breastplates were engraved, shields were painted, and the ornament was part of the protection. ARMOR keeps that idea and makes it small: a shield worn by choice, a mark of confidence rather than defence.

Each brooch is formed by hand in our studio. The wire is shaped, layered and tightened until the form holds firmly, then the pin is set. Because every brooch is made individually, the pattern of the wire is always slightly different.

How to Wear It

Pin ARMOR through a lapel, the front of a coat, the band of a hat or the strap of a bag, and close the pin fully. It is most at home on structured fabrics. Wear it alone, or group it with other brooches for a collected look.
