Gold Copper Choker Necklace: ARMOR by REPIOR®

ARMOR is a gold copper choker necklace formed by hand from copper wire in a gold finish. It closes around the base of the throat as a cuff: a firm, sculptural line that holds its shape and frames the neck rather than hanging from it.

Worn, it catches the light at the collarbone like the edge of a small breastplate. Not heavy. Not defensive. Simply certain of where it belongs.

Protection, worn lightly.

Ornament as Protection

For as long as people have dressed the body, metal at the throat has meant something. A gorget, a torque, a collar: the neck is where we have always placed the pieces that say who we are. ARMOR borrows that instinct and makes it personal. It is a small shield, worn by choice, for no one but the wearer.

Each cuff is drawn from a single length of copper wire, bent by hand into its curve and refined until the line is clean and the closure sits flat. Because every piece is shaped individually, the curve is never quite the same twice. It is the mark of a hand, not a mould.

How to Wear It

Open the cuff gently, place it around the neck, wrist or ankle and close it so it sits close without pressing. Wear the necklace alone with an open neckline, or let it anchor a layered look. As a bracelet or ankle bracelet it becomes a quieter accent of the same line.
