Aluminium Fake Septum Ring: LATTICE by REPIOR®

LATTICE is an aluminium fake septum ring, formed by hand from aluminium wire with a turquoise detail. It rests on the septum and holds by gentle tension, giving the look of a septum piercing without a needle. The turquoise sits at the base of the curve, just above the lip, where it catches the light. Choose silver or gold wire.

Turquoise has been worn as a talisman for thousands of years, from desert caravans to mountain villages. Here it becomes a small, bright punctuation mark at the centre of the face.

Wire Around a Stone

LATTICE is wire crossed over wire, an open grid that lets the skin show through. In this septum ring the grid is reduced to its essence: a few turns of wire that cradle the turquoise and leave everything else open.

Pilar wraps each turquoise by hand, then shapes the ring and adjusts its opening for a gentle hold. Because every wrap is individual, the way the wire meets the stone is slightly different each time.

How to Wear It

With the turquoise facing down, slide the ring’s ends gently into the nostrils and let it rest on the septum. Adjust the opening a fraction with your fingertips if needed. Remove before sleeping. Our guide to non-piercing nose rings explains the fit.
