Copper Helix Ear Cuff: NEXUS by REPIOR®

NEXUS is a copper helix ear cuff, formed by hand from coated copper wire. Several lines of wire gather into one structure that wraps the upper rim of the ear and holds by gentle tension. It gives the impression of a stack of helix piercings, without a single one.

Lines that start apart and arrive together. Like threads drawn into a knot, or paths meeting at a crossroads.

The Meeting Point

NEXUS is a meeting point, several lines gathered into one. On the ear, the helix is that point: the curve where the cuff’s lines converge, overlap and hold, so the eye reads them as a single sculptural form.

In our studio, each line is shaped by hand and joined to the next, then the whole cuff is fitted to the curve of the ear and refined until it sits close without pressing.

How to Wear It

Open the cuff a fraction and slide it onto the upper rim of the ear. Settle the lines along the helix, then press gently until it feels secure. It should never pinch. To remove, ease it open and slide it off. Wear it alone; it already does the work of a stack.

Care Instructions

Remove before washing, swimming or sleeping. The coloured coating can tarnish with moisture; keep it from perfume and hairspray, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and store it in a sealed pouch. For sensitive skin, read our guide to hypoallergenic metals in body jewellery.
