Steel Neck to Waist Body Chain: STITCH by REPIOR®
STITCH is a steel neck to waist body chain: a fine line of stainless steel that starts at the base of the neck and runs down the centre of the body to the waist. It fastens at the throat, lies along the sternum and passes the navel, resting on the skin without piercing anywhere.
It looks like a seam, the kind that holds a garment together, drawn in metal directly on the body.

A Single Pass of Thread
A stitch is the simplest act of making: one pass of thread through cloth. STITCH translates that gesture to the body. It does not decorate the torso so much as join it, from the neck to the waist, in one unbroken line.
Each STITCH is measured, cut and assembled by hand in our studio in stainless steel. The connections are closed one by one so the chain falls straight, catching the light only where the body curves.

How to Wear It
Fasten the neck section first, then let the chain fall down the front of the body and settle the lower part at the waist. It should lie flat, without pulling. Wear it on bare skin, under an open shirt or beneath a sheer layer, where the line shows through.

Care Instructions
Stainless steel is tarnish-resistant and easy to keep: rinse in warm water, dry thoroughly and store flat in a pouch so the chain does not knot. Clean before and after every wear with warm water and a mild, unscented soap. Never share intimate pieces, and stop at once if you feel numbness, pain or a change in skin colour.
