Aluminium Belly Chain: STITCH by REPIOR®

STITCH is an aluminium belly chain, formed by hand in our studio from aluminium wire in gold or silver. It traces the pelvic girdle, circling the waist and following the hips, a fine line of metal that weighs almost nothing.

Aluminium has a lightness that changes how jewellery feels. You notice it when you put it on; within minutes you forget it is there, until a glance in the mirror shows a bright line of gold or silver around the waist.

Drawn in a Single Pass

STITCH is a single pass of thread through cloth, drawn here in metal. This chain follows the body the same way a seam follows a garment: one clean pass, from one side to the other and back again.

Each chain is shaped by hand and sized to your measurement. Aluminium keeps the piece light and nickel-free, which makes it comfortable on warm skin.

How to Wear It

Fasten the chain at the waist and let it settle over the hips. Wear gold with summer whites, silver with denim or black. Layer it with another waist chain for more presence. Remove before sleeping or swimming.
