Aluminium Helix Ear Cuff: TETHER by REPIOR®

TETHER Auricular Chain is an aluminium helix ear cuff with a chain, formed by hand from aluminium wire. The cuff slides onto the upper rim of the ear and holds by gentle tension, and a fine chain follows the curve of the ear, moving softly as you do. No piercing needed.

The chain hangs like a garland strung between two posts, slack enough to sway, taut enough to keep its line.

Held, but free to move.

Between Two Points

TETHER is a line that keeps two points in quiet tension. Here, that line is literal: a chain that links points on the ear and drapes between them, turning a simple cuff into a small piece of architecture.

In our studio, the aluminium is shaped by hand to fit the helix, the chain is attached so it hangs evenly, and the cuff is refined until it sits close without pressing.

How to Wear It

Open the cuff a fraction and slide it onto the upper rim of the ear. Press gently until secure, then let the chain fall along the ear’s curve. Check it hangs freely without catching your hair. To remove, ease the cuff open and slide it off, holding the chain so it does not tangle.
