TETHER Purple Bells is purple bell penis ring jewellery: a leather penile base constraint, cut and finished by hand, with small purple bells. The band sits around the base of the penis and the bells hang free, ringing softly with movement.

A bell announces. It says someone is here, something is happening, pay attention. Purple, the old colour of royalty and of excess, makes the announcement louder. Together they turn a quiet piece of leather into a small performance.

Tension and Sound

TETHER is a line that keeps two points in quiet tension. Here the tension is between stillness and sound: the steady band of leather and the bells that cannot help but move.

Each TETHER Purple Bells is cut and assembled by hand in our studio. The leather is worked to sit comfortably, and the bells are attached so they hang and ring freely without catching. Leather grain differs from piece to piece.
