Aluminium Nose Jewellery Set: VALVE by REPIOR®

VALVE is an aluminium nose jewellery set: four non-piercing septum rings, each shaped by hand in our studio from aluminium wire. They rest at the septum and hold by gentle tension, so there is no needle and no hole to keep open.

A septum ring changes a face more than almost any other jewellery. It draws a small, bright line at the centre, right where people look first. With four rings in one set, that line can change as often as your mind.

Open, Close, Hold

VALVE is a study in pressure, a form that opens, closes and holds with intent. Each ring opens just enough to slip into place and closes softly so it stays, without pinching.

The rings are formed one by one around a mandrel and refined by hand until the curve sits neatly. Aluminium is the lightest metal we use, so you will barely notice the weight.

How to Wear It

Open the ring very slightly, place it at the septum and press it gently closed until it rests securely. It should feel snug, never tight. Remove it before sleeping, washing your face or exercising, and adjust the opening by the smallest amount if it slips.
