Copper Fake Prince Albert Jewellery: VEIL by REPIOR®

VEIL is copper fake Prince Albert jewellery, formed by hand from coated copper wire in our studio in England. It recreates the look of a Prince Albert ring without any piercing: the wire sits at the head of the penis and holds there by gentle tension, and it can be removed in seconds.

It is an illusion in copper, the impression of a piercing with nothing pierced, like a trompe-l’oeil painted on a wall.

A Piercing, Half-Imagined

VEIL is about what is half-shown, a fine line laid over the skin like gauze. Here the thing half-shown is a piercing that does not exist. The eye reads a ring; the body knows it is only resting there.

Pilar forms each VEIL from a single length of coated copper wire, shaping the curve by hand and closing every end so it rests smoothly against the most sensitive skin. Because the wire is soft, the fit can be eased slightly with your fingertips.
