Hematite Non-Piercing Nipple Chain Necklace: VEIL by REPIOR®

VEIL Hematite is a hematite non-piercing nipple chain necklace made by hand from copper wire in a silver, gold or rose gold finish. A collar sits at the base of the neck; fine lines carrying hematite fall across the chest and close around the nipples in nooses or rings that hold by gentle tension.

Hematite has the colour of storm clouds and the shine of polished steel. Laid over skin, it looks like a shadow that has learnt to glitter.

A Darker Gauze

VEIL is about what is half-shown, a fine line laid over the skin like gauze. In hematite, that gauze turns smoky. The stone is dark enough to disappear in low light, and bright enough to flash when you turn, so the piece is never entirely seen at once.

Each VEIL is made in our studio. The collar is curved by hand, the hematite is threaded along the lines, and each orbit is formed to your chosen size and refined so it rests close.

How to Wear It

Fasten the collar and let the lines fall. Fit one orbit at a time: open a ring slightly and close it at the base of the nipple, or loosen a noose, place it and draw it snug. Clean the orbits before and after every wear with warm water and a mild, unscented soap, and dry thoroughly. The plated finish can tarnish with moisture and perfume; polish with a soft, dry cloth and store in a sealed pouch.
