SHELL is leather nipple shield jewellery: a pair of decorative shells in PU leather, shaped to sit over the nipple and areola and held by gentle tension. No piercing, no healing time and nothing permanent.

Leather over skin is a pairing with a long, charged history. A shell of it, closed over the most tender point of the chest, is both concealment and invitation.

The Shell and What It Holds

SHELL is protective and exposed at once, a firm edge around something soft. These shielding shells take the idea further than any wire frame: they cover completely, and in covering, they make the body beneath impossible to ignore.

Each pair is cut and finished by hand in our studio. PU leather was chosen for its smooth surface, its leather look and its light weight on the skin.

How to Wear It

Care Instructions

Clean before and after every wear by wiping with a soft cloth, warm water and a mild, unscented soap. Do not soak; let the shells dry naturally and store them flat in a sealed pouch. Never share intimate pieces, and stop at once if you feel numbness, pain or a change in skin colour.
