Non-Piercing Moon Nose Cuff: AXIS by REPIOR®

AXIS Moon is a non-piercing moon nose cuff: a small crescent moon held by a fine orbit of coated copper wire, shaped by hand to follow the alar curve. It holds by gentle tension, giving the look of a nose piercing with no needle at all.

The moon has always been worn close to the face, in hair combs, on earrings, painted on foreheads. AXIS places it on the nose, like a crescent rising over the curve of a hill.

Balanced on a Single Line

AXIS is drawn along a single line, the body’s own centre of balance. The nose sits on that line, at the centre of the face, which makes it the natural place for a moon: something that circles, returns and keeps its balance.

Every AXIS Moon is formed in our studio, with the crescent shaped and the orbit refined by hand until it rests close to the skin. Each one is made individually, so each has its own slight personality.

How to Wear It

Open the cuff a fraction between thumb and forefinger. Slide it onto the outer edge of the nostril and press gently until it holds, with the crescent facing outward. It should rest, never pinch. Our guide to non-piercing nose rings explains fit step by step.
