Handmade Copper Nose Cuff: BOND by REPIOR®

BOND is a handmade copper nose cuff: one orbit of coated copper wire, shaped by hand and closed gently around the alar rim. It holds by gentle tension, so it looks like a nose ring and needs no piercing.

Some pieces need an idea to carry them. BOND needs only a line. Its beauty is in its proportions: the exact curve, the exact closure, the way it disappears into the shape of the face.

The simplest form is the hardest to get right.

Two Ends That Choose to Meet

BOND is the joining of two things that choose to stay together. On the nose, those two things are the ends of the wire, which almost meet around the nostril and hold there without being forced.

Each BOND is shaped by hand in our studio from a single length of coated copper wire. It is curved, closed and refined until it sits flat against the skin. Small differences from one cuff to the next are the honest trace of the hand.

How to Wear It

Open the cuff a fraction between thumb and forefinger. Slide it onto the alar rim and press gently until it holds. It should feel secure but never tight. Take it off by easing it open. Our guide to non-piercing nose rings covers everything else.
