Fake Cartilage Piercing: LINK by REPIOR®

LINK is a fake cartilage piercing, formed by hand from coated copper wire. A clean ring slides onto the rim of the ear and holds by gentle tension, so it looks as though it passes through the cartilage. It does not. No needle, no healing, no commitment.

It has the honesty of a single chain link: one loop, perfectly closed, waiting to be joined to something else.

The Simplest Unit

LINK is the simplest unit of a chain: one loop, closed, holding the next. On the ear, that becomes a single hoop that looks pierced, a basic shape made convincing by careful proportion.

Each LINK is formed in our studio. The wire is curved around a form, closed by hand and refined so it grips the ear evenly without pinching. Because each is shaped individually, small differences remain.

How to Wear It

Open the ring a fraction, slide it onto the rim of the ear at the helix or lobe edge, and press it gently closed so it sits as if pierced. It should feel secure, never tight. Wear one alone, or several in a row for a stacked look. To remove, ease it open and slide it off.

Questions

Does an ear cuff without a piercing hurt?

It should not. LINK rests on the rim of the ear with light, even pressure. If it pinches, open it a fraction; if it feels loose, close it a little until it sits snug.

Can I wear several?

Yes. Two or three LINK hoops in a row along the helix give the look of a stacked piercing. Mix colours or keep them all the same.

How do I keep the colour bright?

Keep it dry and away from perfume and hairspray, polish gently with a soft, dry cloth and store it in a sealed pouch.
