Copper Choker Necklace: VEIL by REPIOR®

VEIL is a copper choker necklace formed by hand from copper wire in a gold, rose gold or silver finish. As a Custom Cervical Orbit, it is shaped individually in our studio and circles the base of the neck in a fine, close line that follows every curve of the throat.

It reads like a stroke of light on the skin, the kind of line a painter adds last, to make the whole picture glow.

A line so light it almost disappears. Almost.

A Thread Over the Skin

VEIL is about what is half-shown. Gauze, lace, a curtain moving at an open window: the things that cover a little and reveal a lot. In copper wire, that idea becomes a single fine orbit, more suggestion than structure.

Each VEIL is drawn from one length of copper wire, bent by hand to the curve of the neck and refined until the line is smooth and even. As a custom piece, it is shaped individually for each order, which is why no two are ever quite alike.

How to Wear It

Ease the orbit open just enough to pass it around the neck, then close it gently so it sits close without pressing. VEIL is beautiful alone and works as the finest layer beneath heavier pieces.

Care Instructions

The plated finish can tarnish with time. Remove VEIL before washing, swimming or sleeping, keep it away from moisture, perfume and lotions, and polish it gently with a soft, dry cloth.
