Musical Nose Cuff: APEX by REPIOR®
APEX Musical is a musical nose cuff: a fine orbit of hand-formed coated copper wire that carries a small motif drawn from music and sits on the rim of the nostril. It holds by gentle tension, so it looks like a nose ring without any piercing.
Music is invisible, yet everyone knows what a note looks like. APEX makes that sign tangible and places it at the centre of the face, small enough to be personal, clear enough to be read.

Where the Line Turns Into Music
APEX is the highest point of a form, the place where a line turns. In APEX Musical, the turning point is the motif itself: the wire rises from the orbit and becomes music before curving back to hold the nose.
Each piece is formed by hand in our studio. The wire is drawn into the motif, then bent into an orbit and refined so it sits close to the skin without pinching. No two are quite identical, like two performances of the same song.

How to Wear It
Open the cuff a fraction between thumb and forefinger. Slide it onto the alar rim, the outer edge of the nostril, and press gently until it holds. It should rest against the skin, never pinch. Care Instructions
Remove before washing, swimming, exercise or sleep. The coated finish can tarnish with moisture, sweat and perfume; wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and store it in a sealed pouch, away from air and moisture. For sensitive skin, read our guide to hypoallergenic metals in body jewellery.
