Aluminium Navel Cuff: NEXUS by REPIOR®

NEXUS Moon is an aluminium navel cuff with a crescent moon motif, formed by hand from aluminium wire. The cuff fits over the upper rim of the belly button and holds by gentle tension, so the moon rests at the edge of the navel. No piercing, nothing to heal.

Several lines meet at a single point and become a crescent: the shape of a night that has only just begun.

Every moon is a little different. So is every night.

Where Lines Meet

NEXUS is a meeting point, several lines gathered into one. In this piece the wire curves, turns back and closes into a crescent, and every line ends at the same place: the centre of the body. It is a small map of convergence, worn where the body itself began.

Each moon is shaped by hand around a form. For the hammered style, the wire is then struck by hand so its surface breaks into small planes that reflect light differently as you move. The smooth style keeps the line clean and continuous.

How to Wear It

Open the cuff a fraction and fit it over the upper edge of the belly button. Close it gently until it holds, with the moon facing outward. It should feel secure, never tight. Remove it before sleeping, swimming or exercise.
