SUTURE is a non-piercing wave nose cuff: a line of hand-formed coated copper wire bent into a slow rhythm, then closed around the rim of the nostril. It is for those who prefer line to ornament, and want more presence than a simple hoop.

Non-Piercing Wave Nose Cuff: SUTURE by REPIOR®

SUTURE is a non-piercing wave nose cuff: a line of coated copper wire bent by hand into a slow wave, then closed around the alar rim. It holds by gentle tension, with no piercing, and reads as movement rather than a ring.

Often mistaken for a spiral, SUTURE is its own form: a ripple of wire, like the surface of water just after a stone has gone in.

The Stitch in Motion

SUTURE borrows its name from the surgeon’s stitch: a line that closes, holds and heals. On the nose, the wave is that stitch in motion, rising and falling along the rim of the nostril before closing gently around it.

Each SUTURE is formed by hand in our studio. The wire is bent into its rhythm, shaped into an orbit and refined until it rests close to the skin. Because every wave is drawn freehand, no two are identical.

How to Wear It

Open the cuff a fraction between thumb and forefinger. Slide it onto the alar rim and press gently until it holds, with the wave following the curve of the nostril. It should rest, never pinch. Our guide to non-piercing nose rings covers fit.
