Copper Labia Chain Set: SUTURE by REPIOR®

SUTURE is a copper labia chain set finished with small hearts, made by hand in our studio from coated copper wire. The chains drape in symmetry on either side and stay in place without any piercing. Nothing to heal, nothing permanent, nothing to explain.

A heart is the most obvious symbol in the world, until it is worn somewhere this private. Then it becomes a secret message, written in warm copper and read only at very close range.

Closing the Distance

SUTURE borrows its name from the surgeon’s stitch: a line that closes, holds and heals. In this piece the line closes a different kind of distance, drawing the eye inward and holding it there.

Each chain is assembled by hand, link by link, and balanced against its twin so both sides fall in perfect symmetry. The hearts are attached individually, which is why no two sets hang exactly alike.

How to Wear It

Care Instructions

Clean before and after every wear with warm water and a mild, unscented soap, and dry thoroughly. Coated copper can tarnish; polish the hearts gently with a soft, dry cloth and store the chains flat in a sealed pouch so they do not tangle. Never share intimate pieces.
