Sun Nipple Shield Jewellery: APEX by REPIOR®

APEX is sun nipple shield jewellery: a decorative nipple cover shaped by hand from coated copper wire into the form of a sun. Rays radiate out across the areola while an inner ring holds the piece at the base of the nipple by gentle tension. No piercing, no healing period.

Worn, it looks like a small sun has risen on the body, lines of light spreading outward from a warm centre.

Where the Line Turns

APEX is the highest point of a form, the place where a line turns. The nipple shield crowns that point. In the sun version, the wire travels outward in rays, as if all the energy of the body were gathered at the centre and then released.

Each shield is formed by hand in our studio, ray by ray, then refined so it lies close to the curve of the body. Small differences between pieces are the trace of the hand.

How to Wear It

Care Instructions

Clean before and after every wear with warm water and a mild, unscented soap, then dry thoroughly. The coated finish can tarnish over time; polish with a soft, dry cloth and keep away from moisture and perfume.
